Title-Star wars Episode III: The revenge of the sith

Genre-Action

“action-packed and a gripping story makes this the one of the greatest movies of all time, 5 stars”

The Third and final epic saga of this trilogy comes to a climatic end in a stunning visual and technical display, this film is one of my most suggested recommendations as it crosses the boundaries of visual effects. Furthemore the story of Darth vader, one of the most remembered villains of all times comes to a beginning, from the beautiful starship battles and climatic lightsaber duels all the fantastic effects of star wars come together very brilliantly. You will be on the edge of your seat wanting more as this movie brings lots of suspense, action and visuals blended into beautiful cinematics.A must watch movie!

International day

July 20th, 2006 by hajman in Uncategorized · 1 Comment

International day at carlingford high school:

This international day celebration at carlingford high school was surely an extravagant occasion as the blend of cultures, food and festivities was excellent. The performances were leading in style to the high classed ones you may see at the opera, from the fashion parades to the tabuga were surely rehearsed and impressed all viewers. But when the real festivities began was when the cultures exploded in a beautiful light the great rock bands, the foods of different cultures such as the indian Tandoori Chicken, English scons, German cake and South asia and australia sausages as well as the chinese fried rice and dumplings. Some of the activities were sock wrestling, and throwing a ball in a hole as well as KAROKE! The food was excellent and some of the activities were good but i disliked the sock wrestling as some of the older people smashed us by falconing us with their knees which was a bit dangerous as only some of the court was covered with mats we could’ve been easily injured. As the whole schools invovlement in this momentus landmark occasion in carlingford high schools history they just keep getting better it seems, i presume next years shall have more glitz, glamour and extravagance…. but also to my indian country..

Here is my speech:

 Martin luther king
Good morning Mr O’regan and fellow classmates today I will be talking about martin luther king and how he changed the world’s perspective on racism.

Martin Luther king was born on the 15th of January 1929 by the name of

Michael luther king but later had his name changed to martin. Martins Grandfather began their family line of Pastors (a head minister or pries of a Christian church) at the Ebenezer Baptist church in Atlanta; his father was head minister from 1914 till 1931 but then died in 1960.

Martin graduated from high school at the age of 15 and went to study theology (the study of religion and its influences as well as religious truths) at crozer university. Later he won a scholarship from Boston university and went to study there. There he met and married correta scott and had 4 children with her.

After graduating from Boston university he was accepted as head pries for a church in Alabama as he always was a civil rights activist but at that point of time in America if you were dark skinned you were considered a mongrel and dude to this unorthodox fact America was on the verge of a civil war….

Martin Luther King was then accepted into the executive committee of the national association for the advancement of colored people which was the leading organization of the nation at the time. But you ask why is martin luther king so famous  well he lead the first great negro (black skinned ) non-violent demonstration which lasted for 382 days at which time martin was arrested his house bombed and subjected to personal abuse. But by then the judge of the supreme court and found him innocent and the civil rights of black people in America was changed forever.

Soon afterwards he was showing up anywhere there was injustice, protest and action against negroes strengthening  the point that they were equals to all white people later winning the nobel prize at the age of 35 but the died on the 4th of april 1968 being assassinated  while he was standing on his rooftop balcony.

Thank you for listening to my speech I hope you enjoyed it I sure did.

My Speech

May 25th, 2006 by hajman in Uncategorized · 1 Comment

Well today i found out i had to present a speech to my class for 2-3 minutes, at first i was completely nervous. I decided to do it on Martin Luther King, i found sufficient information on him but i was still nervous i practised my speech in front of a mirro so i could see my stance and my eye contact. This made it much easier for me. At the end i had to my speech and i was number 3 making 3rd to do my speech!!! So when my name was called i gathered up all my courage and went to face this imaginative danger of giving a speech to the class of 7b…..

After my speech i felt pretty good as everyone was clapping and i had gained more confidence due to this fact. A few days later our marks were called out  i got 18 and a half out of 20!!! But i discovered i had a bit too much expression but i got a pretty high mark so i was happy.

The Beaconsfield Mine collapse

May 11th, 2006 by hajman in Uncategorized · No Comments

Today i want to talk about the Beaconsfield mine collapse  it occured on the 15th march 2006 in beaconsfield, Tasmania. When the collapse started there 14 people were in the mine at the time and 11 escaped and 1 got killed. But 2 still remained they were freed on the 9th of may. At first when i heard the report on basically every news channel on australia espicially channel nine news i was feeling sorry for the 2 men trapped in the mine and suddenly i was inspired to try my best and to not be holding back what i think as these guys might never see the light of day again thats why…… But also the saddening death of channel nine news reporter Richard Carlton and Larry Knight one of the men who died in the mine collapse.
